Start with add all ingredients to jar doesn’t matter which way you add them , but I prefer adding the dressing then chicken then a bed of romaine lettuce, that way I don’t find the lettuce will go soggy. Screw on the lid, and give it a good shake to mix everything together. When you’re ready to eat, just open up the jar and enjoy!

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 8 oz chicken breast strips
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh romaine
  • Caesar dressing – homemade or store bought
  • optional: Croutons, Parmesan cheese
  • 2 quart wide mouth Mason jars

How to make the Mason Jar Chicken Caesar Salad

Instructions:

1. Start by drizzling the oil in a skillet, Season the chicken with lemon juice, salt and pepper. Cook it in a pan over medium heat until it’s cooked through, flipping frequently until slightly browned on all sides. You can either use leftover chicken, or cook some specifically for this salad.

2. Once the chicken is cooked, let it cool slightly before chopping it into bite-sized pieces.

3. Next make or use store bought Caesar salad dressing.

4. In a mason jar, place the dressing in the bottom of the jar, add the chopped chicken, next add the romaine lettuce, optional: croutons, Parmesan cheese.
