Cruciferous vegetables are vegetables like cauliflower, cabbage, cress, broccoli and similar green leafy vegetables. They take their name from Cruciferae, which is Latin for “cross-bearing” because of the shape of their flowers, whose four petals resemble a cross.

There are a heap of reasons why eating these types of vegetables is great for fat loss.  Here are just a few:
