Ingredients Needed To Make the Instant Pot Keto brussels Sprouts and Bacon

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag of fresh brussels sprouts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • 6 slices of bacon, sliced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup water

How to make the Instant Pot Brussels Sprouts and Bacon

Instructions:

  • Wash and trim brussels sprouts, you can leave them whole or cut them in half
  • Pour water into the Instant Pot liner
  • Use a steamer basket or place the Instant Pot trivet into the liner
  • Pour in brussels sprouts

  • Close the Instant Pot lid and set the vent to sealing
  • Press Manual and set time it to 3 minutes
  • When the Instant Pot beeps, release the pressure valve and remove lid, be careful for any extra steam that comes out.
  • Remove all the brussels sprouts and set them aside in a bowl
  • Using pot holders, remove liner and drain water
  • Put the liner back in the Instant Pot and set to Sauté
  • When the Instant Pot reads Hot, pour in oil
  • Then add onion, garlic, and bacon

  • Add brussels sprouts back to the liner, mix, and sauté for 3-4 minutes
  • Cancel the Sauté, remove the brussels sprouts, and serve
