Meal Plans

Before I can provide you with a nutritious meal plan to suit your goals and training activity, you need to determine your Metabolic Type. Don’t know what that is?  No problems as all will become clear as soon as you fill in the questionnaire below.

Instructions

NOTE: This questionnaire requires you to give some serious thought to how food MAKES YOU FEEL. We suggest you read through the questions first and if you don’t know how a question should be answered because you simply don’t know STOP, go away and when the question becomes relevant to your eating, make note.

You will need to completely forget all the rules on dieting that you have ever been taught or learned and answer the following questions on how you feel when you eat, if you could eat whatever you felt like and you could do so without fear of breaking those rules.

For each of the following questions please select either option “A” or Option “B” for the one response that best applies to you. AT THE END before your click submit: count the number of Option “A” and Option “B” responses and keep these values handy.  In some cases you may find that none of the responses to a given question describe you exactly. In these instances, don’t worry about the fact that a given response may not describe you with absolute precision. Just choose the answer that best describes your general tendencies.

Remember, we are looking for your general metabolic patterns or tendencies, so there’s no need to get hung up on the exact details or specific wording for each question or response.

Please answer all questions in terms of how you are now, not how you used to be, or would like to be or think you should be. Try to be as thoughtful and honest as you can, but remember that there is no right or wrong answer.

Though you should not have to struggle with any question or aspect of this questionnaire, accuracy is important, so it’s best to take your time and not rush through it. There are 14 questions in total.

Note that you can always take the test again at any point in the future. This is something you’ll want to do periodically anyway, to see if your body chemistry has shifted, which can occur.

WARNING!!

Before you click the submit button, count up the number of Option “A” answers and Option “B” answers and keep these numbers handy.  You’ll need them when you click the submit button/
